Jam a new media entrepreneur and advisor who narrowly escaped the clutches of Corporate America. Unable to be confined to a desk job, any more than I can to a classroom, I fled the bureaucracy, rhetoric and constraints of a rigid, politically-charged environment for the freedom, independence and unpredictability of consulting. Long corporate hours were replaced with even longer non-corporate hours, but the beauty was that my hard work and round-the-clock dedication was benefiting me and my clients — not senior management or a boardroom full of stodgy shareholders.

As my business grew, and consumers became more wired, I found myself heavily immersed in web 2.0, and now specialize in finely tuned digital narratives and multi-platform branded entertainment experiences. I often refer to myself as a "brand conductor" versus a strategist because I believe that all aspects of a brand, both on- and offline, must work together to comprise a resounding symphony, creating a seamless, memorable experience for users. It is my job to meticulously orchestrate each element of the brand to ensure a harmonious execution that sparks an emotional connection and drives affinity.

A brand should evoke and inspire the way a powerful piece of music touches you on multiple levels through one composition. You don't identify with the violin section any greater than you do with the wind instruments or percussion; it's all of the sounds commingling that create a singular impression, even though there are various components within the arrangement. In that spirit, I am passionate about composing concepts that produce an invigorating magnum opus worthy of an encore.
